              Welcome

Greetings, and welcome to the China University of Political Science and Law (CUPL). I invite you to learn more about one of China's most distinguished institutions of higher learning on this website? and invite you to visit our campus.

Since the founding of CUPL over half a century ago, CUPL has made tremendous contributions to China's legal development? graduating over 200,000 students, pioneering legal theory reforms, and participating in China's key national legislative activities.

CUPL's international engagement has resulted in thousands of annual faculty andstudent exchanges with more than 173 universities and research institutes in 44 countries. In 2008, the EU and Chinese Government established the China-EU School of Law at CUPL? the largest legal educational program of its kind between China and the EU? with the objective to train academic experts in both Chinese and European law. In 2011, CUPL began to establish the CUPL Confucius Institute? further accelerating the university's international reach.

CUPL would not have achieved so much without the tremendous supportfrom its public and private partners and alumni in China and abroad. Faculty, staff, students, and alumni join me in expressing gratitude for your support aswe embrace our university's future opportunities and challenges. We are heirs to CUPL's traditions and achievements and are dedicated to enhance the university's academic prominence and train future graduates to have an impact in both China and the world. CUPL will continue to contribute to the development of Socialist legal theory with Chinese characteristics. Together, we are committed to making even a greater contribution to China's economic and social development.

Welcome to the China University of Political Science and Law and thank you for your continued support.
